Finding the right size to make an instrument has always been the seed of our approach to production. Modeling the perfect mold means designing a regular dialogue between man, matter and machine. The foundations of our tools are the ancient casting process and the most advanced techniques in engineering design and virtualization.
Investigating all the details involved in the foundry work, demonstrated how the casting method could adapt better than other mold making technologies. The creation of a dedicated foundry within our group was fundamental to honing casting capabilities and perfectly perfecting pre- and post-casting technologies.
Features and advantages of our casting process
CLOSE TO NET SHAPE
The almost clear shape is the image of the contemporary foundry. A technique that optimizes the cast not only to closely resemble the final shape, but also to obtain the ideal thickness to reduce machining interventions with significant advantages in terms of costs, time and energy.
THERMAL
Controlling heat distribution is crucial in thermoforming. Compared to billet moulds, casting offers the possibility of following even complex shapes in detail, directly embedding the tubes in the casting and thus guaranteeing perfect control and thermal distribution.
SURFACE
The right choice of alloys, perfect preparation of sand patterns and cavities, added to the ability to perfectly handle molten aluminum, allows us to provide unique casts for surface definition and lack of porosity.
COLLECTED
Casting is perfect when the mold requires the creation of complex geometric shapes. Through foundry processes it is possible to obtain complex deals not easily achieved with machining jobs and at a fraction of the time and cost.
